Jerzy Kędziora, with his gravity-defying sculptures, returns to Florida with another major exhibition.
Starting November 7, visitors will have the opportunity to discover 30 sculptures displayed throughout the enchanting grounds of Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens in Punta Gorda.
Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens in Punta Gorda, Florida, is a remarkable place where the beauty of nature meets the world of art. Situated along the peaceful banks of the Peace River, this 27-acre garden delights visitors with its lush tropical vegetation, picturesque wetlands, mangrove forests, and winding pathways and wooden boardwalks meandering through the greenery. It is a place where nature creates an ever-changing setting, rich in colors, textures, and diverse forms.
It is against this extraordinary backdrop that Jerzy Kędziora’s balancing sculptures will appear, entering into a unique dialogue not only with the surrounding landscape but also with the works of other artists permanently displayed throughout the Gardens. Suspended high above the ground, seemingly defying the laws of gravity and caught somewhere between movement and stillness, they will bring a new dimension to this artistic space. The encounter between different forms, materials, and creative visions will create a multifaceted story about art, nature, and the relationship between humanity and the world around us. The sculptures will invite visitors to look up, pause for a moment, and discover art from an entirely different perspective.
