Już w czerwcu artysta, Fundacja oraz Old Westbury Gardens zapraszają na plenerową wystawę rzeźb balansujących do wspaniałych ogrodów i założenia parkowego na Long Island w Nowym Jorku.

Na wystawie zostanie zaprezentowanych ponad trzydzieści prac, co będzie stanowić jedną z najobszerniejszych pokazów Jerzego Kędziory.
Od artysty: Staram się swoje rzeźby prezentować w różnych okolicznościach i przestrzeniach. Konteksty otoczenia są dla mnie bardzo istotne. Szczególnie wyczulony jestem na zbitkę kultury z naturą, rzeźby z żywą przyrodą.
Ponadto, to jakbym dopełniał zastaną florę swoistą, podniebną fauną i bawił nią dodatkowo miłośników przyrody. Old Westbury Gardens, ze swą bogatą i zróżnicowaną strukturą, wodnymi akwenami, naturalnymi szlakami i imponującymi alejami, ciekawymi polanami i założeniami ogrodowymi szczególnie sprzyja takiemu podejściu do tych zagadnień, a wyczuwalny oddech historii tego miejsca ubogaca przesłania tak realizowanej współczesnej rzeźby.

Old Westbury Gardens, wpisane do amerykańskiego rejestru miejsc o znaczeniu historycznym, jest dawnym domem potentata metalurgicznego Johna S. Phippsa, jego żony Margarita Grace Phipps i ich czworga dzieci. Wspaniała rezydencja w stylu Karola II, ukończona w 1906 roku przez angielskiego projektanta George'a A. Crawleya, położona jest pośród 200 akrów pięknych ogrodów, parków, lasów, stawów i jezior.

In June, the artist, the Art&Balance Foundation and Old Westbury Gardens invite you to an open-air exhibition of balancing sculptures into magnificent gardens and park on Long Island, NY.

Over thirty works will be presented at the exhibition, which will be one of the most comprehensive shows of Jerzy Kędziora.
From the artist: I try to present my sculptures in different circumstances and spaces. The contexts of the environment are very important to me. I am particularly sensitive to the clusters of culture and nature, sculptures with vivid nature.
In addition, it's as if I would complement the existing flora with the sky-like fauna and would also enjoy nature lovers with it. Old Westbury Gardens, with its rich and diverse structure, water reservoirs, natural routes and impressive avenues, interesting glades and garden assumptions, is particularly conducive to such an approach to these issues, and the perceptible breath of the history of this place enriches the message of contemporary sculpture.

Old Westbury Gardens, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is the former home of John S. Phipps; his wife, Margarita Grace Phipps; and their four children. Completed in 1906 by the English designer George A. Crawley, the magnificent Charles II-style mansion is nestled amid 200 acres of formal gardens, landscaped grounds, woodlands, ponds and lakes. Westbury House is furnished with fine English antiques and decorative arts from the more than 50 years of the family's residence.
