Jerzy "Jotka" Kędziora at the Venice Art Biennale!
Exhibition: "Personal Structures - Open Borders"
European Cultrual Centre, Venice
Palazzo Mora - Palazzo Bembo - Giardini Marinaress
May 13 - November 26, 2017
The exhibition accompanying the Venice Art Biennale was organized by the GAA Foundation. This international exhibition is hosted and supported by the European Cultural Center in two of its prestigious Palazzo's in the centre of Venice - Palazzo Bembo and Palazzo Mora - and the Giardini Marinaressa.
The selected artists come from many different parts of the world, different cultures resulting in very different artworks. Visually, the artworks may appear very different, but all artists present their own subjective, personal expression of their reflection on the concepts Time, Space and Existence.
Among the 200 artists from 40 countries invited to participate in this unique exhibition was Jerzy "Jotka" Kędziora, who this time prepared a static sculpture entitled "A Warrior II". The work is presented together with artists who create for open spaces: a structuralist Andrew Rogers and Nicola Rae with a minimalist composition.
